This notice explains how enquiry and customer information is used when you contact Perfect Builder.

Last updated: 7 July 2026

Who controls your information

Perfect Builder is responsible for the personal information you provide when you contact us about building, repair, maintenance or home improvement work.

You can contact us by email at info@perfectbuilder.co.uk or by phone on 07981872031.

Information we collect

We may collect your name, email address, phone number, location, job details, photos you choose to send, appointment details, quote information, invoices and messages between you and Perfect Builder.

How we use your information

We use your information to respond to enquiries, arrange visits, provide quotes, carry out agreed work, keep business records, deal with payments, handle follow-up questions and comply with legal or tax obligations.

Lawful basis

We normally use enquiry and customer information because it is necessary to take steps before entering into a contract, to perform agreed work, to meet legal obligations, or for legitimate business interests such as keeping accurate records and responding to customer queries.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information where needed with service providers such as email, phone, website hosting, enquiry form processing, accounting or payment providers, or where required by law.

The website enquiry form is processed through Cloudflare Pages and Resend so the details you enter can be delivered to Perfect Builder by email.

How long we keep information

Enquiry details that do not become paid work are normally kept for up to 12 months. Customer, invoice and accounting records may be kept for up to 6 years where needed for tax, legal or business record purposes.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your personal information, restrict or object to certain uses, or request a copy of your information. Some rights depend on the reason the information is being held.

Complaints

If you are unhappy with how your information is handled, please contact Perfect Builder first so the issue can be looked into. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
